Eleonora Brembilla
Dr. Eleonora Brembilla is an Assistant Professor at the department of Architectural Engineering and Technology of the TU Delft Faculty of Architecture. She specializes in building daylight modelling, investigating the interrelationship between daylight and architectural design and technology. Her interests span from the use of weather data to model present and future solar radiation and daylight, to the use of environmental sensors in indoor spaces to track fluctuations in lighting levels and adapt building systems to meet people’s needs. Her research group uses a combination of simulation and monitoring methods to reconstruct the complex spatial and temporal dynamics of daylight in buildings, for use in the design process.
